Cleave doesn't work anymore

Although I put the Cleave gem into one of the lots it doesn't work anymore, it doesn't even appear on the short cut bar. I've tried to remove all the gems and then put just the cleave gem in, but that hasn't worked either.
It appeared to me that it hasn't worked since the last patch.

What shall I do? My Marauder is very hard to play since the gem is out of order :(

I can sell you a Q cleave gem that works. Expensive, ofc.

What are you putting the gem into?

A mace.

Try manually putting it on the bar (left-clicking the bar to see).

In addition, if you're using a mace, I don't think it'll work (though you should be able to place it onto the bar) - iirc, cleave is axe/sword only.

remember cleave only works with swords and axe. make sure ur using the right weapon

You'll probably have to wait for a Clobber skill gem to come out for a mace.

While it's true that the skill won't work for a mace (possibly unless the mace is being dual-wielded with a sword or axe, in which case it might cleave with just the sword/axe), that wouldn't stop the Cleave skill from showing up as a skill he could put on the skill bar. It would just be greyed out and unusable if he's using only a mace.

@OP The mace isn't in one of your alternate weapon slots is it? You can't use skills from the weapon set that isn't currently active.
