Chance orbs
I got a shav in under 20, pre shav nerf. That means (based on the price of shav at the time/ratios) I could have spent 11,979 more chance orbs before I would not have come out ahead.
Got 2 infernal mantles in my 50 chances. No luck after over 200 on soultaker pre nerf. Anarchy/Onslaught T shirt

" This. I got: For less than 100 Chances. I don't even dare to count how many orbs worth it would be now, nor do I care since it's in a legacy league. The best question is, can we chance the "map only" uniques, and what uniques are those? It'd seem fairly ridiculous that stuff like new Soul Taker would be map only non-chanceable ultra rare, seeing how shitty it is compared to super common stuff that's multiple times better, like Kaom's Axe. |

Noobs, please don't take these peoples success as proof that chancing uniques is fairly easy. Chancing unique success rates are based on drop rates. Valuable uniques are very rare to chance. As someone said before, chancing an item that can also yield a valuable rare is te way to go.

" there's no legacy "league" pre nerf uniques are out there, being used, not destroyed or moved to another league. |

" Occultist vestment (which I wouldn't chance anymore because new Shav is trash) can easily provide you with a valuable Rare. So can a Siege Axe. So can an Imperial Bow. Anarchy/Onslaught T shirt

"By legacy league I meant standard and hardcore. They're legacy, or non-ladder, using Diablo 2 terminology. |
