Kicking Guild Leader (game implementation)

An idea concerning why and how this SHOULD be added to the game.

Why:
Guild Leader is abusing his/her position or power, or is absent for an unreasonable amount of time, and someone is NEEDED in the Guild Leader spot for certain GL-Only permissions.

Key Implementation:
All Guilds MUST have at least 5 Guild Officers... the first 5 members invited to the guild will automatically become officers, and the Guild Leader can demote/promote as further members are added.

How:
In order to kick the Guild Leader from Leader to Officer (NOT remove from the guild entirely) 3 out of 5 (or a majority of the guild officers) must vote yes to a kick while all are online (the officers, not the absent Guild Leader).

At the same time, the Officers must vote a new Guild Leader to take the place of the old, from amongst themselves. The old Guild Leader can be reinstated immediately, but otherwise the next change in guild leadership must wait a minimum of 2 weeks.

This should alleviate some concerns for Guild Leaders who are away on an unplanned absence and their guild members who are needing the support that only Guild Leaders can provide them. This will also allow for removal of a bad Guild Leader who is on a rampage and needs to be curbed before destroying the guild they and their officers have worked hard to create.

Or you could leave the guild
Zombie it was defiantly a zombie....
Why leave an otherwise good guild?
No Coup d'état.

Thank you.

Or an otherwise good guild leader can be kicked and their IRL money investment lost. The greedy officers then begin a medieval power struggle and tear the guild apart.

Then I suppose it matters how comfortable you are with trusting your guild officers to do the right thing when it comes down to it, eh?

Guild Leader gets his computer fried by a lightning strike ... offline for 3 whole months. What's his guild gonna do? They're great friends, been together for ages and now all of a sudden their Guild Leader is MIA with no idea what the heck happened... 3 months he's gone, but the guild keeps growing with new members and now there's no room left and people still want in, the guild needs more storage tabs, and the new ladder is about to start.

I suppose there could be an option where the Guild Leader can "Designate" his or her replacement if it becomes necessary to replace them, even temporarily ... perhaps to act as Guild Leader when the actual Guild Leader is not online, like a Co-Leader.

In any case, I think that the lack of guild leadership when it's needed most is the issue that needs addressing the most.
If a guild leader is abusing his powers, then leave the guild and perhaps your friends will follow you into a better guild.

If a guild leader is absent for months, then he should be demoted to an officer and the oldest officer should automatically become the leader. Same goes for officers who are absent for months.
