How.... just how do you use daggers?!

The consensus on crit dagger builds seems to be that they end up doing *too much* damage and 1-shotting themselves on reflect mobs.

Which can be easily "fixed" by using Immortal Call....

As other said a crit build is obvious ;)

If you think you need more survivability try ranged attacks with the daggers (either Lightning strike (you have that awesome lightnning damage passive near as well and LS will shock on crit, thus further enhancing your damage)) or Spectral throw.

The main problem with Dagger builds is reflect mobs. That and it has a pretty high gear dependance. You need to go Chaos Inoculation, Ghost Reaver, and Vaal Pact. Unfortunately Vaal Pact from the Shadow tree takes more points now. I had to sacrifice a bit of dps to get it again.





With the Aura re-balance I opted to take out Wrath and use Discipline and Grace. I did gain a little more ES and a lot more evasion but I lost about half my dps. I've been working on getting GRRRB on my body piece for stronger Flicker Strikes but its been quite resistant, haha. I think I may drop Lightning Strike for Cast when Damaged with Immortal Call and other defensive spells to increase my chance to live. Its a very squishy build and probably not something I would recommend.
