[1.0.0] Critical split arrow with 7 frenzy charge (Video done)
Hey, one question.
whats the deal with the bandits? kill all or let some of them life? |

+ 8% projectile damage does the same for phys damage as +8% phys damage? only difference is the 8 % projectile dmg also raise the damage of elemental damage asigned to the shot (like wrate, hatrated etc)
am i correct? =) Last edited by hexipox#0272 on Oct 29, 2013, 6:40:34 AM

Oki I have a couple of questions
Why Iron Grip? You spend 8 points getting this, you have 160 str, that gives you +32% phys damage. Insead you can spend those 8 points in your current build and get this: 72% physical damage 4% attack speed 15% projectile damage 20% projectile speed +20dex 25% crit chance with bow I do not see any logic in getting Iron Grip at all. 5 str = 1% physical damage. You use the gem “added fire damage” this benefit from higher physical damage, meaning that you can increase your added fire damage, and your physical damage over all by NOT taking Iron Grip. This will also affect elemental damage on weapons, as your fire damage will be higher and this +40~% will increase more to fire as well. Please explain to me if I’m wrong. Why Iron Reflexes? To me it seems much better going for 30% dodge on spells and dodge in general. Going Iron Reflexes you automatically remove any benefit from your 362 dex (75% extra dodge) and you remove the possibility to dodge. Going for dodge instead (2-3 nodes, which you can get from not going unwavering stance - you can take heart of oak and get 30% dodge on stuns..) you're still able to use armor if you do have any. Reducing overall melee damage by probably 20% while having 70+% chance to dodge. And on top of that 30% chance to dodge spells.. That is in my book much more survivability.. Or? You have left out A LOT of +12/+15% phys damage, I don’t see the logic here, since it seems you went for more crit, but your sustained damage can be increased a lot, making your crits do much more damage, but you will have probably 500% crit multiplyer and 20ish crit .. but gain like 70-100% phys damage .. why not take this small lose on crit chance / damage to increase your elemental damage, physical damage, your over all sustained damage? IT does not seems logic to me. Just my few thoughts on this. Last edited by hexipox#0272 on Oct 29, 2013, 7:16:00 AM

(1) I don't get Mind over Matter just because I have very few mana after using aura.
(2) bandit mission: + 40% life + physical dmg + frenzy (3) I just want to go to unwavering stance node. So I got iron grip just because it is also close. Of course you can try a character of dodge critical ranger. After going to dodge node, you need excellent evasion armor due to lacking a shield. You only have dodge and evasion without block. And you have also half armor after using dodge. So possibility of sudden death may be occurred. And why I go to unwavering stance? Because I don't want to get stun during fighting with close enemy. This is very dangerous for archer. There are new type monster and it is necessary to hit them very closely. So I don't want my life go up and down so sharp. This is horrible. Anyway, this version of passive tree give us many space to build many variation. You can try any build you want to be depending on what equipment you have. Good luck! |

I understand, but can you tell me why you left so many +phys dmg nodes? that i dont really get .. i mean you can get atleast +100% more phys dmg with less than 6-7 nodes..
For armor i really dont know i cant speak of it yet since im not even higher than lvl 45 .. im just "theory crafting" you know.. |

Indeed, you need grow up and try. You will realize what I mean. Why I choose critical node instead of more physical bow? Just because the elemental debuff on mobs after critical strike. The archer only two way to make debuff on the mobs. First is static blow node, and Second is to use critical strike. You should pick one of it. You can also go to static blow. But to ranger, is so far away in current passive tree. So you won't see any ranger to get static blow, except for top player with Koam (HP +1000). This build is relative easy to newbie. Necessary equipment only lioneye and blooddance boots.

Static blows is a debuff? i only thought i increased the chock chance of lightning? and increased the duration?
Critical hits do the same as static blows? let enemies take increase damage? last does projectile damage % add to elemental damage too? or just to phys? You know not everyone knows these things, that's why a guide should simply-fie this to the user :) thats the whole point of a guide imo.. Last edited by hexipox#0272 on Oct 29, 2013, 9:05:40 AM

Static blow increases shock chance, and critical attack will make elemental debuff (shock/burning/chills). Critical strike can augement all kinds of damage. Some players go elemental build, and the other go critical physical build. they may result in similar split arrow damage of both builds. But the single attack--frenzy, will be better with critical build due to critical physical augmentation.
