LMP vs GMP with Spectral Throw Build

Hey guys,

i just found GMP gem and I cant decide which one is better with my 2Hand Sword Spectral Throw Build.. Whats your experience ?
GMP is only good on skills that use chain otherwise the projectiles are to spaced out and often miss most close grouped low quantity targets making it hard to kill anything that aren't in massive groups.

Not to mention single target damage is non existent.

Strongly disagree. I've always found what you're saying to be the case with arrows and spells, but due to the way that spectral comes back after, it means if you're standing directly infront of a target, you're guaranteed that all projectiles will hit on the way and on the way back. It changes things significantly, and for that reason I prefer gmp for spectral.
For shotgunning, GMP works well.

My experience is that Projectile Speed Gem with Projectile Speed Shrine is hilarious. I also use LMP because GMP drops damage too much.

Edit: Spectral Throw does not shotgun any more. The attack may only hit an enemy every .3 seconds.

when you use Spectral Throw on a target thats in melee range of your character, only the middle projectile hits the target becasue the spread is too wide for the other 2 projectiles that they miss. you could use the skill without targeting the monster and placing the cursor further away but desyncs makes it so sometimes the target wont actually be when you see it so you will still miss.

for single target is better not to use LMP or GMP. kiting works better because more projectiles hit the target that way but its annoying.

wish they fix it though and make it a little more like Freeze Pulse in terms or hit range. with FP you can hit the target with all 5 projectiles with GMP

This skill cannot be allowed to shotgun. Point Blank would throw the damage off the charts given the way weapons scale and is probably the reason they disabled its ability to do so in the first place.

If you dropped the damage enough to allow it to shotgun, it would be useless as a ranged attack.

I was under the impression ST did not shotgun, as in only one projectile can interact with a target per throw.
