what level and stats you used to beat Dominus?

I used lvl 99 Freeze Computer. I used my "please be ok" potion/warcry which worked. Now I'm in Cruel.

Wow. I need more HP.

I cleared the whole fight at level 38, 1.1k hp, around 50-60% resists, 35-40% damage reduction.
Was using Spectral Throw with added fire damage support, and wrath aura.
Did not get 1-shot like some people claim they were, at 1.5k hp, i basically facetanked the last part of the fight.

Aaaaaand then i disconnected after talking to Lady Dialla.

Know that feel, happened to me too. I didn't get the WP either.

2nd time around Dominus was much easier though.

Are you guys talking about Normal or Cruel? I havent reached him yet and it seems I shouldnt even attempt any time soon =p

dont remember normal but just killed him on cruel.

36% dodge
64% eva

gmp- and single-spectral throw with a 2h-sword, warlords, temp. chains on stun, leapslam for additional mobility, decoytotem.

died once due to my own stupidity (1st form, jumped right in the midst of those totems and then came this i-dont-know-what-he-shoots-attack).

2nd form was easy in comparison, nearly facetanked him.

yes, call me glascannon, but im trying a bit of a very... unique build here ;) (standard).

E: ah, and somehow i managed to miss the lightningtrap-unique on cruel. dont know how but wasnt sad :D

You miss fist attack, you go to Standard.

Just beat him on normal level 36. I had to use about 20 portal scrolls. I have 300 DPS, 700 HP, 5% life leach. Is it normal to die over 20 times to beat him?

If it's your first time it's not unreasonable. Took me about 30 on my facetank marauder :(. It does show how important it is to both tank up and manually avoid attacks, though.

It certainly taught me about capping resists and keeping flasks filled as well as using DoT/minions/totems to keep ES down.
