What the **** does ''Clever Construction'' do?

I am making a trapper and I was wondering what the hell the ''Clever Construction'' keystone does.

It reads: ''Traps cannot be damaged for 5 seconds after being thrown''
''Mines cannot be damaged for 5 seconds after being placed''

What exactly does this mean? Will they now, instead of exploding on touch and beying destroyed, stay on the ground and explode again and again and again?

Does anyone know?

Traps can be destroyed, that is more of a pvp notable I think.

It can be useful in PvE too. So many times those bloody Arc Mages kill my trap before it triggers. The leaping goatmen and the like, too.
ThX!!
I was looking 4 a way of getting revenG on those bloody goat-bastards - and I like using traps (burning, bear) & mines - so: 2nite we feast on kebab!! *muhahahaha*

As a player who heavily relies on Fire Trap, I can honestly say that I've never seen this. It's true that (especially earlier) sometimes traps don't fire, but I attributed that more to lag than anything else. I've never noticed Goatmen disabling traps or not springing them. Then again, I just throw the trap on myself and wait for them to jump me.

Incorrect. It is useful in all situations where enemies do any form of area damage.

Traps can be killed the moment they set, long before they trigger or you detonate any mines.

In my opinion, it's the single best notable for Traps in the game.
You'll need this keystone if you're playing a trapper. Anything with AOE... like the bears that have chaos damage in the waterfall area, will knock out your traps before they can trigger otherwise. Take it.

the times that traps didn't fire wasn't lag, they got hit by an aoe
GGG Notable: "Cleaver Construction"

Translation to player language: "Use traps without them being destroyed"
