Animate Guardian?

my advice is to animate the white shield with +24 all resist.
energy shield based items for extra life. (white items offcourse) plus a regalia makes it look like another player. [Removed by Support]

Not sure which other headpiece does this, but maybe coif-type headgear makes the guardian look like the Templar. See this post.

If you happen to accidentally take off the animate guardian skill gem wouldn't he die?

and if the guardian gets killed the items are lost too and on resummoning him you have to use new items...is that correct?

Please give us more information on the Guardian. It is such a cool skill- I would love to know the specific stats like, his health pool and if the first item you summoned determins his lvl and so on.
