Low Level Rarity Farming is Viable

I was able to make some good money without much work. The basis of the build is that you level a duelist to 35 (keep him there) and use cheap, low level IIR/Q uniques to farm cruel hillock/ledge. Although the point of the build is get high demand low level unique item, you can actually sustain an income with just the blues/yellows you ID from hillock and rare mobs along the way. In just 10 sprints to Hillock, i was able to make a chaos worth of alteration orbs and only used 84 ID scrolls. If you were to run through 1 chaos worth of wisdom's doing this (roughly 250-280) you would rack up ~3.3 chaos in return. Taking the 1 chaos you spent on wisdoms out, you doubled your chaos in a short amount of time, or if you had to buy some of the uniques you broke even. So far, this has all been to show that the build has no upkeep cost, and if you don't find any uniques, it's no sweat off your brow, you still made a profit at the end of your mindless farm (I would only farm during a tv show or when i was winding down for the day.) No upkeep and the uniques will come! So far I've found a Dram Frags, Astramentis, 4L Searing Touch, Tabula Rosa and a good roll Anadvarius. With 2 Andvarius's i'm sure the rate will be even better but I only use the 1 that I found. Most people will argue that running 66 maps would be faster/more fun. But if you were specifically trying to farm lower level uniques this is a profitable and easy way to do it, take care and happy farming :) @Doge_This_DPS

Collect lvl 10ish rarity/quantity gears.
Make new character. Play through act 1 (kill mervil). bank loot. Delete toon. remake/repeat. Currency profeit. |

" Assuming your runs take 1 min per you are looking at .58 chaos or so per 10 mins. Which is an average of ~3.5 chaos per hour excluding unique drops. Viable? Yes. Efficient? Not quite. 5-6 hours per exalt at level 35 isn't bad though. Hillock can also drop divination distillate IIRC which can be worth a lot. IGN: Srslyagain

I'm low lvl farming for LLD.
First if you're staying at level you want as high IIQ as possible because you're banking on currency drops otherwise you'd just play a high level toon. I tried hillock and IMO he's a slow farm. He's a long walk, then you have to walk through town to WP back in. I've found for rare farming Fire and Fury in terrances is best. Just run through, kill her, go to tidal island and keep resetting. She sits on this ledge piece, once you do a few it's easy to figure out where she'll be. Takes 1-2 mins max a run. If you're goal is currency then I'd suggest doing ledge like every bot out there. Currency is a numbers game not a boss thing. If you are looking to farm the most rares/uniques but don't care about LLD I'd suggest Gneiss in act 2. He's the quickest kill and drops a good amount of loot. Usually there's 1-2 packs of blues and 1-4 rares on the way to or around him. edit: also if you can afford the stash tabs, it's dumb not to save rares and match names for chance orbs (2) or alchs (3). Just google "POE chrome ext" and that program will help you with matching items. I'm making about 30-60 chances a day, along with 200-400 alts a day, ignoring good rares/unique drops.
