SPORK: can a 4 link be respectably standalone?

Dear community,
For my Lightning Arrow/Frenzy ranger, I would like to include SPORK as a 4 link (Spark, faster casting, fork, spell totem). Previously, I was using those links for Projectile weakness also on a spell totem. However, I found that the targets for which I needed the curse most were immune to curse. Therefore, I thought that SPORK would be a nice auxiliary damage support. I am using Voltaxic Rift, so elemental reflect isn't a major problem. Because I'm the standard LA ranger build, I have no enhanced spell synergy, not on passives, nor on gear. So, my question is as follows: Is SPORK a standalone package, that's versatile for any build? It would be weak if you don't have any spell dmg%.

For a witch, it is fine in a 4L. You won't have any spell damage or casting nodes, so it is really hard to say, and depends a lot on your crit.

Why not just use a ranged attack totem? That spell totem is gonna be weak af.

Use Spell Totem + Summon Skeletons + Faster Casting + Blind, you'll be able to kill bosses without even getting hit and the blind is really nice.

ranged attack totem is going to be much better than spark on a non caster character, if you want to shock why not to use ranged attack totem, lightning arrow, added lightning damage, lmp

All great suggestions!
I am not a crit build (resolute technique). However, my rationale was that I am stacking % Weapon Elemental Damage on gear and passives. So, looking at level 20 Spark's flat Lightning damage, I thought that there would be some scaling despite lack of spell damage. My main attack (lightning arrow) is already a complete aoe Nuke, and single target frenzy reaches almost 20k on full charges. I think Ranged Attack Totem with LA would be redundant to my primary LA. (basically, I'm just kind of bored with my build, and wanted to add in some excitement. I've never played spork, and thought maybe it could work).... My gear: if you guys could make some suggestions:

" yes gonna have to try it out on my summoner. I also use a 4 link spork with him and pretty much up to low level mpas have not even been a challenge at all.
