Attribute Bonuses [a small quibble]
" Dex does get a bonus. You hit more. Hitting somenoe 75% of the time vs 85% means you are DOING more damage by not missing. The issue is everyone seems to use RT unless going crit. If you are going crit, then Dex is actually quite worthwhile to have. Small issue with it though is that dex is still % accuracy, so you need flat accuracy on items and the dex makes them super powerful. But if dex gave flat accuracy, then the % accuracy on tree would be quite valuable, and you could get decent evasion just from your dex |

" That's exactly what Dex does. "Dexterity grants +2 accuracy and +0.2% evasion per point" Malpheas is suggesting changing the accuracy to a % and the evasion to flat numbers. " :P, Braindead Friday. Reading through it again I also said at the end 'evasion' instead of accuracy. I am so smart, SMRT, I mean SMART |

Welcome to the club, I couldn't discern between 'is' and 'are' in my last post...

RE: Flipping Dex bonus percentage and flat application, as was Scrotie's idea, is fine, but then items and to-hit calculations would likely have to change again.
My suggestion was, and is, to have all stats increase damage of a type: Dexterity boosts ranged physical, Intelligence boosts elemental damage. Balance these out. I can't demand this, of course, but am interested to know the philosophy behind attributes from Grinding Gear developers. |

id say bonus flat evasion from dexterity for those who arent using IR would be nice, or maybe some more accuracy from dex
