What will happen to Standard and Hardcore's economy?

Since all currency and items will merge, how much will this effect the economy?

I wouldn't turn on trade chat with all the uniques everyone will be selling at once, but if your lucky you can get some super fn cheap.

People need to unload their stash big time. Some items like shavs will sell cause there will be so many. But koams will jack up in price a ton and eternals since people will want to waste everything on crafting.

Your guess is as good as ours.

I know I won't go on a selling spree till the dust settles. I may look for the odd bargain prior to that though.

Unfortunately the same strange effect that we can see all time: low and mid items decreasing and some items considered top having a big inflation. Why? Because people will need space since stash will be merged and then they will sell their items cheaper. It could reduce the price of "high items" but I guess who have this kind of item will wait a bit to see the market. Probably one or two items considered top can change the status but in average they don´t move. And if something becomes harder to find (because the owners are waiting more to sell) the prices increase.
