ranked = competition so you want to win

what happens is amazing and was the reason why i left lol

and what annoyed me the most in this game ppl dont know roles they overextend with 2 ppl missing for 3min with no wards whatsoever get ganked again and again and dare to blame other ppl its so frustrating i had a really hard time to understand why ppl act like that

you can avoid dumb ppl in rl but you have to deal with them in lol and thats just annoying

I got my way up to Silver, and I can say I don't deal with that.
But perhaps Bronze does have that kind of trash.

You're the one playing with semantics. When the "convenience" you've paid for gives you an explicit advantage over free players, especially in a PvP game, it's indisputably pay to win.

Stash Tabs under your definition are p2w. You lost. Goodbye

The term "pay to win" is specifically reserved for when you cannot progress through a game unless you spend money on it. Even though in path of exile you can buy items from illegal third party retailers it is not considered pay to win because you are still able access the content without having to pay for it. Its the same for league and d3 theyre technically not "pay to win" because you still have access to all the content without paying, its just if you do pay youre able to access it alot quicker.

I remember when I started playing league a while back. When I hit level 30 I barely had enough IP to buy runes and could barely fill a single rune page. On top of that, if I recall you need to own a minimum number of champions? It also sucks when you're limited by what champions you own in champion select as it completely takes away your freedom and you are often forced to pick into bad matchups.

Another big problem I remember was only having 2 rune pages. Yes, you can buy rune pages with IP but they cost 6300 IP and someone entering ranked is not going to have that much IP lying around. Normally you want multiple rune pages for each role but I was forced to have only 2 rune pages for all roles.

Point being, this is completely different to stash tabs. I've never felt hamstringed for not having stash tabs (of course, I could make a new free account if I was). In league, I had 2 mids, 1 top, 2 junglers, 1 AD and 1 support. Guess what happened if the opposing team happened to pick the champion I was going to play? Yep, I was forced to change role or hope that the free rotation had something for that role and I'd have to play it for the first time.

At the same time my friend had 8 rune pages and 40 champions after dropping money in the game and had a much easier time in ranked. Really, if you don't want to call it pay-to-win, I'm not sure what to call it. But I was severely disadvantaged for refusing to spend money on RP.

Going to call bullshit on that.

When I hit level 30, I had two complete rune pages and 9 champions (3 of which cost 6300 IP) with IP to spare. There's no way you hit level 30 with so little stuff. And even if that isn't enough, there's still a lot of 450 and 1350 IP champions available which take only a couple of games each to unlock.
