Change the size of the chat window

Hello, I'm loving the game so far but only have 1 problem: The chat window.
I think the chat window is too big, it takes up a big section of my screen, and I have 1920*1080 resolution. I've tried looking in the option menu and can't seem to find any option like this. So, having an option to change the font size, or/and being able to change the size of the chat window. Other than this so far I'm really enjoying it :) This thread has been automatically archived. Replies are disabled.

Damn. Yes, smaller chat definitely needs to be an option, as it's the first thing I tried to do after rolling my first character minutes ago only to find a giant chat box taking up lots of screen estate.
Looks like I can turn off chat completely but a middle ground would be nice - I like seeing chat and chatting to people, but does it really have to take up so much space? |

I completely agree. It's the first thing I tried to do after creating my first character (even before killing that first zombie guy on the beach). A smaller font size and smaller window would be great.
However, I'm sure this has already been suggested somewhere and I'm sure it's something they would have on their to-do list since it's an option in just about every other game I've played that has a chat window. |

I agree, I just logged in and want to gauge my eyes out, the chat box is about 4x too large with non stop idiotic spam in it.

Yes and yes! Trying to shrink the chat was the first thing I tried even before walking on the beach. I'm going to have to turn chat off so I don't gouge my eyes out... what a shame :(
I would like to customize the size, font, and where the window is placed. |

also just rolled first char and also the first thing I was looking for was how to make the window and font smaller. default is an eyesore. |
