Does defeating the game in standard unlock the Scion in the new leagues?

I.e. can i defeat the game with one of my current character and then start fresh with the Scion in one of the new leagues?

Yes, it sounds like unlocking Cruel/Finding her is all you need to do.

Pretty sure it was mentioned that you need to find her to unlock her.

I watched that interview and from what I remember he said that you can do the new content on one of your already powerful character and just plow through the content if you wanted to, but that he didn't recommend it because it could ruin the experience. I didn't hear him say anything about the unlocking of the new class being account-wide instead of league specific or vice versa.

However, if I'm wrong and what you're saying is correct then I'm a happy panda.
A dev post about this would be apprecieted though.

It hasn't been confirmed but I am leaning towards no. It is likely league specific.

League specific simply doesn't make sense with hundreds of short time races.

Find her once on normal in any league and that's it.

They could easily run scion availability as a mod to a race just like they did with rogue exiles.

So it means, that if I have few leveled characters, I will get possibility to create Scion "automatically"? I'm not interested in new leagues, it's for Standard.
