do you mean which will you get to play/test first or which will release first??

if blizzard has their standard beta testing period of approx. 6 months then poe will most likely beat it to the punch so to speak.

poe still has a lot of content to be added though so it's tough to tell at this point which will be released first.

most likely you'll get to test/play poe before d3 though. i think they (blizzard) were shooting for a cb date of sept 11 or thereabouts ... but only 1000 keys will be released at first i think.

Early client downloading puts unnecessary load on the servers. It probably isn't an issue by this point but I'd still say you are better not to bother. Once you get in, you will be able to get it. It's about 2.3GB from memory.

My guess is Diablo 3 won't see its full release until the first or second quarter of 2012. We know that Open Beta for Path of Exile will be the first month of Quarter 1 in 2012 i highly doubt Diablo 3 will see a release date before then.

But then again Diablo 3 could launch this Christmas as the game has been in a playable state for some time now so from now until mid December beta testing could be long enough for a testing phase.

honestly, if they did release an early client download, the first thing many would do would be go through the files or crack it to play the content regardless. That is, unless they were to encrypt them ALA Steam predownloads. but then again... server loads

diablo3 never will come out. it's like the ultimate troll, they even started to build a game to try and convince the public that D3 actually exists and has been in development for 1.5 decades. Games don't take 20years to make. D3 is a conspiracy.
