Hrimnor's Hymn Not as Shitty as I Thought
Just occured to me that I could cast spells and take advantage of his stun. So now when I shock/freeze combo, those mobs are not only chilled and frozen, but they are stunned for a loooong time. I added Stun gem to it also it's pretty cra-cra. I thought this item sucked but even though as a caster you lose a lot of power equiping it, you gain a lot mob control which I think makes up for it. These don't hurt either. Yeah I'm using a Elemental Equilibrium with arc and cold snap to really make sure I hit with high burst to stun them after they are shocked. Then if I encounter a beefy foe like a bear I can glacial hammer to finish them off just for style points. |

I made a caster with double Stone Hammers -> Hrimnor's Hymn a while back.
Never got confirmation from the devs that on-weapon "Reduced Enemy Stun Threshold" is global/affects spells. Took all the passive stun duration/stun threshold reduction on the tree (all 4 nodes of it near marauder). Was using EK and it worked pretty well. I would stun enemies for longer than my cast time. Pretty slow for damage and pretty low on survivability, but the build works. Besides, everyone likes a Witch with a 2h mace. |
