You can get an exalted orb from the very first zombie. Sure, it's rare, but if you get it (and if I understand correctly) then you can keep duplicating this orb. 1 exalt per 30 sec is pretty good and pretty broken, especially in week race leagues.

if i understand the op correctly, it's only about the starting items you recieve (the weapon and the gem), not the drops.

Yes, it is just the start items. Yes, they do not matter much.
I thought the dropped items got better, after the second and third run. Maybe, maybe not!

There is no glitch. The items only appear after relogging if you did not pick them up the first time and it's only the starting weapon and gem. They are not duplicates.

Pick up one or both of the starting items and relog, the starting item(s) will not reappear.

This occurence has been known ever since it was released in the .9.8 Patch Notes

Not so. The starting items spawn whenever you get a new instance of the normal Twilight Strand.

Try this:

- Create new character
- Fight through area, kill Hillock, but *do not* enter Lioneye's Watch.
- Exit and play a different character long enough that the instance can reset.
- Load the new character again.
- Back at the beginning of the Twilight Strand, with a new wand and a dying exile.

Anyway, I don't think it's a big deal. And in a race league it's a waste of precious time.

Duping destroyed Vanguard and AoC for me.. it took them forever to fix it.

Duping should be kept a secret to only an elite few who like to cheat imo... /sarcasm

Ahh, using the steps you provided I was able to replicate it. It is entirely useless though, lol. Wasting 8 minutes of time waiting for the instance to reset to gain the equivalent of 2 scroll fragments is just stupid.
