Skill Effect Duration

I do find it frustrating/surprising that there is only one group of skill duration nodes on the entire map. would like to see another group

I think it's funny that the one "special" group of nodes near the ranger / duelist is one that hardly benefits them at all.
Templar has Buff Effect. Marauder has Skill Cost reduction. Shadow / Witch don't really have anything special. I also doubt that skill duration would increase the duration of Freezing Pulse. That would be multiplicative with faster projectiles, so if it works it seems like it would be a bug. Regardless, I don't think this node is really that good, particularly compared to the buff effect node on the other side. |

" I can think of one benefit which I'd like to actually try out. Ice shot has a secondary effect in which it leaves a trail of ice upon impact on the ground, slowing enemies. A level 20 Ice shot gem with 20 quality has 1.48sec duration + 15% skill duration modifier. Couple that with level 20 Increased duration support gem for a total of roughly 140% duration modifier for ice shot. Possibly more with gear...(if there is such). Don't forget the fact it does cold damage based off physical too and your set. No one will touch you ;) |

its probably to seperate skills that would be OP with such buffs, so that rangers would have to go out of their way to get the neccessary other buffs (spell damage etc) for something like firestorm for example.

" Any skill with the tag Duration. Firestorm, Molten Shell, Curses, Dominating Blow(basically a must have for Dominating builds), Viper Strike etc. Basically, anything the support Increased Duration would work on. |
