U clearly dont understand how this works , it all depends by the player who creates the instance.

This should be better notified by GGG I feel. I mean, most of us know it, but only through trial and error and/or existing knowledge of how servers work.

And that last half shouldn't be assumed knowledge for a game about to be released.

That's the thing though, I assume a lot of people think that if they are the Party Creator then all instances will be on their chosen server. In reality it's whoever enters a new area first, decides what server is used.

So if you want a good connection you should always be first to enter a new instance/zone/area/level!

I personally like the fact that everyone is not segregated. Good to know I can play with a buddy on the other side of the world without having to make a whole new character for separate servers.

These responses are just as stupid as the OP's post. It doesn't matter how much bandwidth your connection has, it will always be limited by the physical time it takes for signals to travel a distance, in this case, a very long one. You probably also live in an area (Such as US East) that allows better latency between continents because of less distance, hops and exchanges etc.

Coming into these threads and saying 'LOL GET BETTER INTERNET' shows a complete lack of understanding of networking on a large scale.

You missed my other post in this thread where I play with people from various gateways, and I'm probably as far from them as the OP from anyone else, so if he admits to a shitty connection maybe that IS the problem, since even considering the distance a shitty connection will not make it better.
