Not needed in any way and you simply don't have the mana to run it.
I wouldn't even consider to drop any from haste, hatred, purity just to get 4 block.

For solo is definitely not needed since every pack is one shotted.

You should already be doing that really :).
Most easily farmable currency is orb of alteration.

8 orb of alteration = 4 jewelers = 1 fusing.

So gathering 30-40 fusing wont take long if you pick up blue items also.
Pick up small size items blues so you can fit more in your inventory.

I do keep a level 1 Multistrike, as this is rarer.
But I'm buying Melee Splashes as they're cheap.

Every time i make a new char i spam trade chat for a multistrike
i never payed more than 3 chaos and lowest i got was 1 chaos

They are not that rare.

I don't play alt+f4 league :)

anyway, use something else, faster attacks, added fire damage.
Multistrike is not a 100% requirment. It does make life easier though when it auto selects a target.

Thanks for taking the time to post this mate. Being able to steam roll Docks and Lunaris has allowed me to gear up to a point that I can finally map with it. Next step BoR/lioneyes pinnicle :P
