Actually I'm not sure that the drop sound is always the same for the same kind of item.
Play the very beginning and very end of the video where you drop the mirror. The sounds are different (the pitch is, anyway). Thanks for doing this - disappointing to learn that a mirror drop sounds pretty much like every other orb drop, though. It should definitely have its own special sound effect. Actuallyi think it's the same for the same kind of item.
Those are the types of sounds i can distinguish : Noise 1 : Mirror/Eternal/exalted/DIVINE/GCP/REGAL/BLESSED/Albino Rhoa Feather Noise 2 : Chaos/REGRET/Alch SHARD(!) Noise 3 : Chisel/Fusing/Scouring/Alch/GlassBlower's Bauble/Alteration SHARD(!)/Transmutation SHARD(!)/Scroll Fragment(!) Noise 4/5 : Other orbs. Do you agree? The question is : How did alchemy shard get to noise level 2, and how did alt/transmut shards and scroll fragments reach level 3 ? Anarchy/Onslaught T-Shirt Owner.

Get the guy who did the announcer voices for Unreal Tournament to yell out the names of the orbs when they drop, much better than some vague bass.
