My gameplay also freezes and then catches up then freezes and ect... unless I am playing on the lowest graphics settings now. It's still pretty bad with my discharger |

Looking at how the game plays under these settings, I'm wondering:
Was there a patch / update that "zoomed" items when you picked them up? As in, increased the size of the item when it was held by the mouse cursor? I don't remember the game acting this way in August, but when I came back to play after 11.5, the game now "zooms" an item to an increased size when held by the cursor, and then when the item is placed in a "wearing" slot, it keeps that zoomed size, and then when it's in a bag / stash slot, it seems that the resizing process is also "off" as some of the perspectives on items (namely large slot items) is skewed. My assumption, is that some code was used to build a zoom function for at the cursor, and designed with newer video cards in mind, and is not fucntioning with older cards / outdated cards / discontinued cards. Now, this could all be incorrect, as I'm not a video game designer, but based on my limited programming background (I do UI design / graphic design, so I know my way around a little code), and going over how the system currently functions, this is my assumption, best guess, trouble shooting kind of thing. |
