melee class with magic

You could play a Facebreaker with Bringer of Rain and high block chance/Enduring Cry (get 7 Endurance Charges). Bringer gives you basically a 7-link which should pack enough punch for your needs in melee (add in Meginord's and you're basically set). IN ADDITION you have a 5 or 6-link Searing Touch in your second weapon slot and when you have enough Endurance charges from blocking with Bringer (or using Enduring Cry), press X and then DISCHARGE. BOOM. Kill the whole screen and what's left over gets obliterated in melee :D
Unarmed for life! (although I do like maces too recently)

" or you could use EC and make BOOM every 2seconds... Idea is nice, like it. But lacks of Efficiency. ,o) |

" Well the thing is if you use EK every 2 seconds, then you might as well play an EK build... Primary focus of my idea is melee and for the occassional wtf boom you have second weapon slot. Also that way you dont have any problems vs reflect as you can kill ele reflect mobs with phys dmg and phys reflect mobs with ele dmg :D Unarmed for life! (although I do like maces too recently)

" you look like thor when u wield a 1h hammer for lightning strike! too bad those things have low AS =\ €: to say smth on topic: try some kind of elemental dmg / critical damage build, coz some of those nodes work both ways. the hardest part about this is to get gear that works both ways, its nearly impossible. " Yeah, end-game viability for a lot of builds leaves something to be desired. But making the game even slightly easier like was done a couple months ago was a huge fight, so I don't really see GGG opening that stuff up again soon. There's way too much of peoples' egos wrapped up in the supposed 'hardcore'ness of the game. Personally, I think if everyone had reasonable-ish survivability sans defense nodes, end-game would be a lot more fun. As it is you still have to stack health just to avoid getting vaped. It's not quite as bad as it once was, but is still pretty bad. |
