Monk build possible?

I'm not able to look right now, but is it possible for a monk build to be created? If so, which base class and what skills would be required?
Veteran ARPGer but not very good with the number crunchin'. Currently maining a Witch and I want a male version!

If by monk you mean unarmed, then yes, any character can be a successful unarmed fighter.

You could go Templar for a beefy Monk or a Shadow for a more agile/dodge attacking monk. Veteran ARPGer but not very good with the number crunchin'. Currently maining a Witch and I want a male version!

you'd need to find/trade for a facebreaker first. then most people go marauder because u have to tank pretty hard to get up close. however a lot of people are saying facebreaker is viable with all classes.
also i think if ur after a monk build there's one somewhere in d3 -.- |

For unarmed, as said above, you need the Facebreaker gloves (build enabling unique - obviously it enables unarmed builds ;))...
Though maybe a staff could also go for a monk style character - in this case the Teemplar has most staff passives really near. Proud 5th duelist in the Jul 1 2012 Ladder Race and in the Nov 3 2012 Solo Turbo Race :D
And even prouder 4th Templar in the Nov 10 Four-hour Party Hardcore Race :P Current OB success: top 20 Ranger in 105 Minute Turbo Solo (S4E9) |
