The Goddess Scorned recipe

First of all: Thanks Charan for the awesome sword, and for providing a way to find it that is actually exciting for the community (the rest are being found so far they could as well be featured in the patch notes).

Let's dedicate this thread to our theories on how the recipe works, and if someone finds it, please share!

I won't be able to try any because I don't have a Goddes Bound / Tipua Kaikohuru, but feel free to try anything suggested.

This is what we have to work with:

Three so fine, one divine, and one a matching bruise,
Two that burn, two in hand, and one that sits unused,
Two that spark confusion, one that gives, one that takes,
And one that weeps when all alone... an oath fulfilled makes.

Let's go verse by verse:

Three so fine, one divine, and one a matching bruise,

The tempting solution is to think the Divine refers to a divine orb, however we should take into account the level requirements of the Goddess Scorned, and assume GGG isn't going crazy with the currency required to craft it. nevertheless, 1 Divine Orb is a real possibility here.

Three so fine screams quality to me, so it's probably three of something with 20% quality.

About the Matching Bruise: matching to what? I think we need to get back to the Goddess Bound flavour text for this one: "an elegant bruise". Since the required bruise is matching, whatever we are looking for is elegant, so it looks like we need an Elegant sword (which happens to be the sword base item).

Two that burn, two in hand, and one that sits unused,

I'm going to go with Gems for this one. It's probably two Fire gems, two physical damage or attack gems, and maybe a Support?

This sounds like gems to me as well. I can't think of which ones.

And one that weeps when all alone... an oath fulfilled makes.

This is, I think, a clear reference to The Goddess Bound itself, given its well known attention whore personality.


I'll keep updating with my theories, feel free to add yours and try anything suggested.

The recipe is already being discussed at length in 2 other threads. And at some point I'm sure it'll come up in the vendor recipe thread as well.

maybe something whith an élégant sword 3l 20% and two fire gems who spark confusion one give one take both 20/20 and the third socket stay unused
