Single Target lightning nuke

Lightning damage is awesome and fun for AOE mob pulling for farming and grinding, yet there seems to be no efficient way to single target burst damage for bosses and rare mobs. Why is that? It could be something simple like Lightning from Diablo 2. I don't know about anyone else but I think a skill like that is highly necessary and needed in a game like this.

a singletarget lightning spell would be really nice
ofc sparktotems are ok for bosses but i would love to see a good lightning caster build without totems
and maybe they should reduce the manacost of arc as well (even with low multiplier support gems like increased critical dmg/strikes power charge on crit etc,its difficult to maintain it even with manaleech)

I agree, lightning bolt would be nice

the lightining version of incinerate would be soo cool

I more want Piety's Ball .. rolling something across battlefields has fun value.
