Any improvement on X-Fi bugs???

Hi, I'm testing PoE in this open weekend and I found this nasty bug related to SFX with Sound Blaster X-Fi sound cards.

I've read this http://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/24872/highlight/ post and this one is exactly what I'm experimenting right now http://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/24229/highlight/

Problem is, I'm already using non official crappy drivers from Creative http://www.hardwareheaven.com/pax-download-pci-x-fi-series/ and even so, reinstalling OpenAL doesn't fix this crackling in every SFX.

Are you guys working to fix this annoying bug?, who is it going?
Ok, I downloaded the lastest PAX drivers for X-Fi and the sound got worse, but I found something quite interesting.

As many people may know, EAX effects on windows or music playing are very unpleasing, so as many people I deactivated EAX. After playing around in PoE I notice that some sounds (even when distorted or with crackling) seen diferent based on camera position, so I activated EAX and re login on PoE and, Vuala!

The SFX distortion is still there, but randomly, not as a constant like before.

Is not perfect, but is still better.
I think the X-Fi Fix is coming in 0.9.13
The audio guy.
Today's 0.9.12g patch may have fixed it. Please let me know.

it hasnt fixed it for me. it is still easy to reproduce.

i loaded PoE (after patching) in borderless window mode.
opened up my browser and started a video -> blue screen.

the browser is exchangeable with every sound using programm that hasnt been running before the PoE start up.

edit:
i solved the problem for me with the registry-fix suggested in the sticky in the bug sub-forum.
i havent looked for any solution as got used to paying special attention what programms i was running.

Negative, with patches 0.9.12G, H, I, J, K and L those nasty sounds are present.

If you have a X-Fi and want to play without sound distortion you must use --softwareaudio.

I still belive it has to be related to EAX effects.
I don't have sound distortion, but I just got BSOD from using my XFi without the nosound option and without the softwareaudio option.

goingt o try playing with the softwareaudio thing now.

EDIT: Didn't get to play long with the softwareaudio option, so I don't know about crashes yet. BUT. The sound mixing (volume of different sounds) is waaaaaay better using the softwareaudio option compared to not using it.

X-Fi Fatalty1 FPS, PCIe.

EDIT2: inserted "Edit" so you konw what I changed.
