CI and Chaos damage maps

Hello,

my witch is CI based and I rolled a map today with

+X amount of Chaos damage per second.

Since I am CI, I won't suffer this damage, correct?
or will it apply on top of CI and instakill me?

FYI, I am new to maps and just wanted to verify.

i read ci(chaos immunity) and after i read it it says immune to chaos dmg

so it will kill you

it wont kill you. you are immune. Its basically a free affix for ci on maps. Bloodmagic is the one you need to be careful for :P

Suffering is a free mod for CI users. You get 18% map quantity bonus for free! It's one of the best suffixes you can roll.
