red swirl above mobs heads?

I keep seeing a red swirl above mobs heads when I attack them. Is this a stun indicator or maybe burning damage?

Will post screen shot later today. I do use the vulnerability curse. Is this an additional indicator of vulnerability? I mean there is already the curse symbol over their heads.

I thought it was the actual curse icon you were talking about, since vulnerability is red and swirly.
If it's something else plus the curse icon, i'm not sure. |

Elemental Proliferation triggers this effect when the mobs are burning.

Just worked it out. Its the vulnerability curse as it fades away after the mobs die. The vulnerability symbols disappears and red concentric circles linger. Probably noticeable due to my shitty framerate.
