we had to remove the item drop on death because many of you killed bottrains with monster trains to farm equipment and get exp spots many botlords complained of being trained multiple times a day so we changed it

The p2w is strong in this one. While I don't have a problem with subscribers having the upper hand over f2p people (which would essentially make the f2p part a mere demo version of the game), I hate the fact that you can brute force your way through the game with a big enough wallet. I will still give it a shot, I think with a really good guild the p2w stuff doesn't matter.

6 hour log-in queues? =0[.]o=

Yep, the queues are ridiculous, up to 6 hours for subscribers and up to 12 hours for f2p people. Practically unplayable unless you play at like 4 AM.

Unfortunately, this game will most likely burn and crash since Trion is the American group dealing with it.

Trion is a familiar name as it gave us rift and that other major fail of a game, Defiance. Rift was great in the beginning until trion decided to go f2p, then it went to shit. Archage, might be good, the Asian version, but the western one that trion is supervising will crash and burn - just you watch.

Level 40 right now and I kind of like it. Will I still like it in a month? I'll let you guys know. I have heard good things about the endgame so I'm optimistic.

I made it to level 20 before i decided 6 hour queue times, a need to pay real money for the ability to auction loot, and just a general sense of nothing special over any other vanilla mmorpg were not worth my time. Uninstalled.

Seriously, cant developers actually come up with any novel gameplay or actually interesting gameplay for a mmorpg? I know i can. But i guess marketing and familiarity is the only thing big publishers (and the public en masse) care about.

In summary: snoozefest cooldown recharge spam + pay to win + long queues + lack of innovation = poor game

I am level 41 Paladin and I love the game but the queues are a fucking joke. I paid for the £100 quid pack and I get priority over F2P players but today I got home and I'm hit with a 3,000 queue. Apparently it is 3 times that much for F2P. Trion were the wrong company to go with, they did not plan properly in advance and bugtest properly.

Apparently patron players get their own prioritized queue but it won't display as such yet. Overall the patron system is bugged, which is kinda a shitty situation for your actual paying customers to deal with.

I had luck and got no such problems so far.

Funny enough the community and trial system spawns nationalism and racism on all sides and some retards justify their xenophobia as "RP". If the game won't be drowned by Trions awful marketing/community support it will be by it's community itself and stay a niche title in the long run. Would be okay with this personally.
