Attack on Titan

so how many of you are manga and anime fans? well i am one for sure. For the past 6 months i havent really been able to be a part of the internet world cuz of work leaving behind PoE and mangas/animes in the same time .

After i came back it seemed i nearly forgot them , oh man Attack on Titan made me remember !
The anime is absolutely gorgeous !

It was SAO all over again for me , i just coulnt stop watching . I watched all of the episodes yesterday without stopping at all and sincerely i didnt think i would do that again after SAO but it just got me addicted.

I love the plot and the characters , they way they talk and the way they act.I love its so brutal and yet so attracting and interesting to watch. Till now there are no lame childish self called *Funny* moments made to attract 5 y old kids . its just a harsh world , a realistic world which u can feel and understand.It gives us the message without the need of countless scenes filled with `oh i do this for my nakama , i will not abandon my friends , friendship is the most important thing in the world` which indeed are childish and absolutely annoying when repeated too much.


So thats my opinion about the anime so far , there are currenly 18 episodes up and i have seen only those . I am really trying hard to not read the mangas for the moment , at least till the season is over.The mangas seem to be really popular with over 20 million copies sold especially in 2013 since the anime came out this year too pushing a lot of people to the unknown series.I am pretty happy i found out about them but since i am bored now i would really like to what do you think about them .

The anime has its flaws though. Pretty slow pacing, slightly censored.

In the manga, you'd see people (especially Eren's mother) getting ripped apart and it really added a layer of tragedy to the whole thing.

i didnt really see it from that point of view , the thing is the first arc was truly amazing and the second couldnt just keep up with it .

ye i havent read the manga yet as i said but its obvious animes are generally worse than the mangas for known reasons , its like comparing a book to the movie :P.


More horror scenes would be welcomed for sure , the impact the anime would leave would be terrific tho and it would transform it in a pure horror anime and i understand why they dont want something like that.

I just finished watching this.

Is the manga longer than the anime? It kind of just stopped as things were starting.
And it posed about 400 questions that were never even remotely answered.
