Will increased projectile speed on a wand help spells?

After all, many spells fall into the projectile sub-class.

Thanks!

Spells that list "projectile" on their card... yes.
Projectile speed will increase the speed of any attacks or spells that have the Projectile tag. So yes your spells will be affected. However, many skills already have very fast moving projectiles, so increased projectile speed isn't really needed. But there are some skills that really need projectile speed, like Freezing Pulse and EK. Their duration is based off time rather than distance, so by increasing the projectile speed you increase how far away you can hit enemies. Also Freezing Pulses self damage reduction is also based on time, so faster projectiles means you'll do more damage to farther away enemies than you normally would.
Seems like it would help sparks as well, which tend to mosy around the screen dilly dally.

Ah yea, forgot about Spark. It wasn't needed for spark until recently. Before, a spark forking would refresh its dissipation timer. A recent patch changed spark so that its timer persists through the fork so projectile speed is really important now.
It increases EK range.

Why totem damage does not increase with %projectile speed from wand?

why should a increase in range increase the dps? (you can hit monster a lil bit farer away but that cant be calculated in dps, since you could also put the totems direkt in front of them and it does nothing for the raw damage your totem/projectile spell does)
Incinerate is another spell that benefits greatly from extra projectile speed. q20 will give 40%, but Incinerate is so much nicer to use when it outranges most ranged enemies, so aiming for a total of 60-70%+ is normal, either via passive skills or a good wand adding to the substantial amount from quality.
Scionic Flametank 3.2: The classic ES-CI-ZO-GR regeneration tank is back in business, stronger than ever before with 50-60% ES/s recovery during most fights due to creative use of regeneration, leech, and recovery mechanics
