A write operation was performed on a read only object

Hey,

ive got a beta key and downloaded the installer. After installation i try to start the launcher, but it shows the error "A write operation was performed on a read only object"

Can anyone help me?

i run win 7 64bit. a reboot doesnt solve the problem :/
What AV are you using?

Fix is to delete the content.ggpk 0byte file in the games install folder.

reboot didnt solve the problem :/
No AV at all... i think its the installer. i just did a reformat inst SP 1 + 2, and nvidia 500series drivers. for vista 64

Delete the Content.gppk 0byte file.

It was created with the original install, so you were correct, the installer is goofed. Delete the file and it will work.

This^^ I had the same problem, then i deleted content.ggpk and its working fine now.
