Game files backup

Which files in particular do we need to backup, so that if we ever need to reinstall PoE we can copy the files back after reinstalling the game so that we don't have to go through the laborious process of redownloading all the game files again to get it up to date.

just make a copy of the content.ggpk file to somewhere different. everything else is very minor.

i backed up the whole game. Pated Grinding Gears folder into Program files. I then in stalled the game as to run the .exe file and still it wants to update 5.2gig. So i dono what is the problem here

I had to format my computer so I did a backup of the whole folder. Once I got everything running on the computer I copied the files back to "../Grinding Gear Games/Path of Exile", as I clicked on the client it started with all the allocating space and downloading process. What I did was just to let it download a bit and then cancelled it.
Copied the backup again to the folder and game started up just fine.

Those are the most likely to become corrupted/unpatchable
