ES/EVA shield looks weird on Ranger

Hello,

I was playing a Ranger, and I put on an ES/EVA shield in town. It looked kind of weird. It looked like she was kind of holding it, 60 degrees rotated to what it would be like if she were wearing it. Here's a few screenshots of what I mean. It did not occur outside of town.
