GGG sets the standard for customer service. Blizzard Entertainment takes notice.

Blizzard may have bad customer service and GGG may have good customer service but Riot clearly has the best customer service. Go on their general forums right now and you can see how many posts they have directly responding to player posts. GGG mostly just says, "please do not harass other players" and then releases an announcement a few days before the patch hits.

It's all relative. The Tech forum's for Blizzard are very good. Starcraft's general forum is pretty good. D3's general isn't the best for sure, but sure is entertaining. Never played WoW :)

I've only had to call Blizzard once and my experience was good, and they resolved my issue. I would say that GGG's response time is outstanding, as I have contacted them a number of times.

Everyone will experience good & bad customer service, even when dealing with the same company. I'm sure there are less than glowing experiences that GGG has delivered.

Yeah, that's what Australians feel as well. I've experienced to the contrary in both countries. I find American face-to-face customer service *far superior* to Australian, with Japanese leaving both in the dirt of course (even if you can, if you squint, see the malice and hatred behind the perfect kashikomarimashita smile on a Japanese Department store worker's face).

Funny story about this type of thing. I own a company that sells Japanese toys, games, and novelties at Anime conventions here in the USA. I have been over to Japan on buying trips (even though I speak no Japanese, it usually all works out), and extremely often find really expensive things (as resold in the USA of course) at resale shops for very little.

Well, once I was in a shop and they had TONS of little things for about 100 yen, which at the time was about $0.80 US. These were items I later resold for between $12.00 and $20.00 each. I had a few dozen of these items.

The way Japanese resale shops work, each item has a tag. Upon sale, they take the tag, and stick it into a log book. So, when I got to the counter, I was there for a WHILE. During the process, a line forms behind me.

Well, after a few minutes, a Japanese man starts yelling. I ignored it a while, the looked to see what he was yelling about. He was glaring at ME, and still screaming. I don't speak Japanese, so I just smiled sadly and waved. He went balistic.

The counter girl DID speak some English, and she asked me if I knew what he was saying. She explained to me, he was yelling that I was, single handedly, slowing down the entire country of Japan. That time was probably moving backwards, and soon we'd all be getting bombed again.

She apologized for him, as she handed me my change.

THAT is customer service!
Agreed! A while back I sent GGG an e-mail requesting an account name change and they changed it in FOUR minutes. That's insane!

Sadly, it requires pretty stellar knowledge of relative values of things RIGHT NOW. There is so much in POE, with values that vary so much based on the spec and current gear of prospective buyers, it's relaly hard. I tend to stick to a couple item types, and a couple currency types, and make trades when I see those things pop up in trade. And ignore any other possible deals. Best I can do, I'm not as smart as I want to be. : (
U cant compare these two. Well u can, but it wil prove nothing.

Only in a year ore two when GGG has reached blizzard's size, wil u be able to compare them.
