What to do with extra scrolls?

I'm finally at the point where I have more than 40 of each. Are they useful for anything beyond that point? Or do I just leave them on the ground from now on?

They're supposed to be a form of very low-level currency, right? But there's nothing really useful the vendors sell in exchange for them, is there?

You can trade them up to other currencies, although the effective ratio is very small.

My experience is that eventually you will start farming for currency, which involves identifying a *lot* of yellows to sell. These need to be identified in most circumstances, and you will actually through Identify scrolls much faster than you can obtain them. Portal scrolls convert to Identify 1:1 at the vendor.

Saving your scrolls now if you have the inventory space will give you a head start when you get to the point that you start using them rapidly, and reduce the number you have to buy.

Only pick up small blues and idenfify all of them to build up a stash of alterations.

Sell them. 1 fuse for 100 should be achievable.

i bought ID-scrolls several times for a 120:1 alch -ratio

I don't know I can never have enough and I don't pick up blues except maybe early on or it has a high inherent mod(like 30% Diamond rings).

1. Stash.

2. Look at them.

3. Shiver.

4. Close stash.

5. Open stash again.

6. Shiver.

7. Go back to farming.

Yeah, as other suggested, keep an eye on tradechat, or offer them for sale there... I've ended up buying wisdoms for alchs in past too when I've run many many runs on a boss with large IIR/IIQ
