Got the same messages as so many other players when I try to enter another zone. Unable to MapViewofFile in MapChunk. ErrorCode: 8 OffSet bla bla bla. Client.exe has stopped working ---------------------------------- This about sums up my experience with the open beta. Every new area I go into gives me an error message of the same type. It started around act 3 and basically barred me from advancing (seeing as how my game would crash and my instances would erase) until I simply joined parties and had them carry me. Sorry, didn't have time to sc since all three of these were in Lunaris Temple 3 and I had to rush to get back so the instance wouldn't reset. First error 8 happened when I tried to use the red teleport to Piety's room, second when I was resurrecting from a death during the boss fight and the final when I was heading to the barracks to enter merciless. I use -gc 2 in the app, and now nothing but act 3 crashes. Lunaris 3 - town is certainly the crashiest, followed maybe by ->Battlefront and <->Marketplace (although any resurrect may crash too). The most annoying thing with these crashes to me is that the startup of PoE is taking like two minutes for me, and the crashes (or maybe that gc?) destroy any portals I have, making the backtracking a race.
