Demon Hunter more fun than ranger..
" Well I wouldn't say its ONLY d3... personally I love mobility with ranged characters (assassin from maplestory? love it. Half life in half an hour speed run? orgasmic... youtube it if you haven't seen it) and, if nothing else, I would have brought this up eventually I guess from my experiences playing battleships (wc3 map). In battleships, a large part of the game revolves around being able to react super quickly to projectiles by either teleporting or using a 'jump' ability to dodge high damage attacks.... basically increasing survivability through skill rather than relying on build/equipment (this is not to say that there is anything wrong with getting hp/armor/es through the passive tree and equips...) because I feel that I want to have an advantage that is not easy to duplicate (meaning, builds can be copied but reflexes can only be learned through lots of play time and experience). Maybe I am in the minority on this point though.... I love playing ranged glass-cannony builds in all games but it seems like a 'requirement' of using ranged attacks is not being able to move while attacking (I don't mean kiting... I mean like not being required to stop). I guess having played counter-strike for several years makes me love being able to not be a sitting duck while I'm attacking. |
