This game doesn't have room for the mundane. not everyone used them, there were some builds for act 1 and 3 mercs. act 5 mercs were pretty meh though. you can make you a1 merc beastly as fuck in d2 though. I came into this thread expecting MTX pets to be fighting each other. That would be really cool actually. As the players fight, the pets that run alongside then will occasional tackle each other and fight.
