I spent 20 dollars. It then asks about an upgrade to Support. Will spending 20 more give it to me?

Hi there,
thanks for your patience - we've just replied to your email from 15 minutes ago. Just to clarify, if you purchased a $20 points pack we can manually grant you an Open Beta pack (this wouldn't happen automatically) but we'd have to subtract 100 unspent points to cover the $10 for the digital items, and you would have 100 points left. This is effectively the same as upgrading to an Open Beta pack and purchasing a $10 points pack, except with 4 points extra due to the better ratio in the $20 pack.
I hope this makes sense!

Can we upgrade to a support pack for the title and forgo the digital items?

I'm afraid we can't do that - in higher tiered packs we can offer some microtransaction points in lieu of physical items (though this would need to include all items, not some), but we can't remove the digital items from the packs to reduce the cost. The title is a kind of badge to show that the user has purchased the supporter pack in full :)

The forum title is the main thing you are buying with your $10. They won't cheapen everyone else's purchase by giving it to you for free.

The Forum Title, made up of mostly text, is not where most of the labor is. The designing of the Pet itself and the Soundtrack is where all the work is at.

I don't want them to give me the Support Pack for free, just that I don't like all the features in it, and because of that, work with me a little bit.

I'm already making negotiations with Support. I am a customer of PoE, and if I'm going to spend money on something, I want things how I want it if possible.

If I wanted anything to be free, I would have told GGG's Support Team to give me everything for free.

It isn't about labor. You purchase the pack as a whole or you don't purchase it at all. That is just how it works.

If they start parting out the pack, they will have to do it for everyone. The weapon effects and pets might as well be in the shop for points in that case.

I plan on investing more than $20 to PoE, in fact, I have. Not only that, if I had it on me, I'd donate a couple million dollars to the development of PoE. This thread may sound dumb to you, but not to GGG. If GGG wants to see more money flow for PoE through Microtransactions, the best thing to do is listen to what customers have to say.

It's simple business sense. No system, no government or company of any kind can exist without The People or players.

Money is money, especially in these times if you haven't noticed . . . Not only that, when you multiply $20 by thousands of people playing PoE, it adds up to way more than a car. That's why it's called Microtransactions where everyone chips in a little money here and there.

A little goes a long way. I thought everyone knew this . . .

Anyway, I have talked to GGG's Support Team (a very awesome team) and they said they'll possibly consider making it easier for customers so that they can choose from certain options on certain things.

That just said, or after a certain amount of money has been spent on something, a customer will receive the Beta Supporter Pack itself, perhaps a special deal, or whatever GGG decides to do with what I suggested in my E-mails to the Support Team.

In a nutshell, if we all sit idly around and say nothing, nothing gets accomplished. That's the problem with most people today, they don't stand up for things like they used to, which is why a lot of things are the way they are and continue to stay the way they are.

Well done on becoming an open beta supporter, btw! That's some nice grease you got there, squeaky.
Face it, all of your suggestions are worse than this idea:
