Kole explosion on death?

Heya
I died with my HC Summoner because I figured I'd go back to piety's place and pick up a nice new Wrath, after completing the difficulty. I ran into Kole, and killed him pretty fast, but the same second he died I just suddenly died too. I had no shield and was right beside him. Soo, does he have some kind of death-"blast" that you don't wanna stand too close of or smth? |

Clear out Kole's casters before you get Kole... or at least be aware of them.
