Path of Exile is vastly superior to Diablo 3, they may not have polish that some of us are accustomed to but, in less than a year POE has come along way... Here is a known fact... Poe has polished this game in a year (not talking about weeeeee early development)... to Diablo 3 supposedly 10 years...
Jay Wilson was transferred (in other words fired, just a kind way of saying it) because he created demon's. He also ticked off one consumer that most likely pushed Blizzard off the edge. Yes, that was me... my opinion on the forum garnered 94000+ views. It was a simple and to the point thread... I was so frustrated and angry that he released a product that was in his word's "10 year's in the making." Nevertheless what was released was anything but total failure... "Anything that can go wrong during a release, happened." Hence now why developer's use "closed, open, beta...and stay there for a while" Blizzard became the guinea pig of what happens when a developer titles a product "finished," releases it and it is NOTHING but finish. I sent a ticket to support never received a response back. In other words the moderators of Blizzard are "fan boys," of Jay Wilson's club. I will never purchase any product's from Blizzard, Jay Wilson on purpose created a horrible Diablo 3 this is a fact. Oh how Karma loves to kick in, such varied forms. So far Path of Exile has shown nothing but their best in terms of responding to our needs and concerns. They are smart to stay in beta and I wish POE nothing but the best. So if you decide to go back to Diablo 3 that's fine just don't dare try to compete POE with D3 you will loose because I can copy and paste every single rant on Diablo 3 forum's to make my point and much of the rant's still are same even to this day. I was also THE FIRST to tell the Diablo 3 community that the game was being made for Playstation... all the PC fans shunned me, disregarded my thread... and there is nothing more gratifying than seeing them choke on their own words. I may not have a Master's in developing a game but I have something better, a Master's as a consumer... Why are people still trying to beat a dead horse? I can understand if this was still 2012, but cmon. Let bygones be bygones.

There is nothing wrong with being right, even if you have to tell everyone so. :P
But, I think many people rode that D3 wagon, all my pro blizzard friends refused to acknowledge reality but every one of them bailed on D3 long before I did, and I didn't like the game, I was just waiting for T2 and didn't know about PoE until later. The problem with ARPGs is that you can spray perfume on a pig, but it is still a pig, there is no easy way to disguise it.
