Looking for a cheap farming build for lv 60+ maps

Hey,

I´m kinda new at this game and looking for some help. I was thinking to make a summoner? But I don´t like it. I want to make some dmg by myself.
Do you know a good cheap build which is able to farm lvl 60+ maps?
Some magic find would be nice too.

My suggestion for a new player is to just play the game. Enjoy it. Don't worry about farming or what char is strong just do what is fun. That's the best advice I can give

I will give you some pointers. Keep in mind I have not tried the first suggestion that I will give you.

1. Dual Spark Witch on low life (can farm only Docks and perhaps Lunaris without Shavronne) http://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/412359 . Can stack lots of IIQ and IIR. I intend to make one soon. Could be ~expensive? Dunno, will see.

2. the Shocker http://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/80909 This is my main (lvl 77) Facerolled before life got nerfed, facerolls now, too. Cannot equip so much IIQ and IIR, though. Good mf items are expensive. I run maps with him. This was my first viable character after I levelled a ground slam marauder and left him at lvl 56 because it is so frustrating to melee in this game.

Keep in mind that the dual spark will put some strain on your GPU and if your machine is weak/old your fps will drop from frustrating to unplayable. This can somewhat be countered by kiting and trying to kill enemies off-screen.

Again, take these with a grain of salt, as I am not a pro :)

P.S. With regards to what Cador suggests - that is viable, too. However, from my experience I've found that it is much more enjoyable to learn the mechanics of a game while pwning stuff and bathing in good loot, than realizing you have wasted a ton of time. I'm gonna "waste time" now that I have a good farmer ready to support my projects, be it experiments with a big tendency to fail or extravagant and expensive builds...

LMPed Freezing Pulse is main skill with Cold Snap for AOE freezing

Spark totem for shock stacking (which increases damage mobs take a lot)

And 2 fire traps for some Fire damage and for protecting the totem

Its cheap to build - I've found most of the kit myself and traded for just 1 or 2 bits. Using all 3 elements gives nice flexibility and i find it fun rather than spamming the same skill over and over again
