what is the fastest character to level up?

I have played a few classes, and I feel as though a poison arrow archer is pretty easy-sauce for the first few difficulties. You can usually kill anything and everything without much concern over taking damage; due to the clouds of poison killing most monsters before they can attack you. Bosses are generally the hardest thing; because you have to kite a lot.

I have also gone a tank marauder. The play was easy, but not nearly as fast. I had very few deaths, and enjoyed myself. In terms of speed though; having 4X the DPS and 3X as many deaths on my archer; put my archer way ahead of my marauder.

My first class was a summoning templar. It wasn't difficult by any means, but as suggested above; was quite slow. It takes quite a few levels before you can really beef up your minions; and you will rely on a lot of hard to find skill gems; to really make them strong.

Almost every class is based very strongly on what skill gems you have access to early; and gear.

OMG yes.. i went and made a summoner after leveling a Marauder to +60 and the difference is unbearable. The Summoner literally ccrraawwllss through the content.

I'd have to go with 2H Mara.

A well geared shield-charging Templar goes pretty fast too.

I've never played a mara before, just an ice witch and a shadow. Had no idea they were that fast to level

Yeah and you only need 40 levels before you get to a point CI is useful and the damage gets great...

summoner witch is good at least you do not die a lot which saves the time too.It depends on what you like to play btw why rushing to lvl up lol.

Yeah its not like this game got leagues with just the purpose of lvling fast... oh wait...

I took a pure summoner to lvl 69. Great survival, put it is slow. Current minion AI is do for a rework. You go one way the minions go stand in a corner. I played a mara next to lvl 50 or so. Much faster. In fact I would run around and gather up the mobs and aoe them with ground slam. Great fun. I have always liked a Necro, ranger for my mains, but the mara might make me reconsider that.
