[Performance]Option to deactivate all skill effects and graphics required to play the game.

My client just froze again as repeatedly in the past due to high graphics requirement of the game. I have a Radeon 6770m with 2gb, 8gb ram and an intel core 2 quad 6600qm and the game does not run above 10 frames during 6 players party play due to skill effects. I run the game at a low 16:9 resolution, no aa, no shadows, no lighting effects, no filtering, i have a frame cap and even reduced the texture quality manually. There is no way for me to improve the performance for this game left.

I make this thread right now cause I am really p***ed off after wasting an 4 chisel, an alch and several chaos for a map and getting booted out of my game right after opening the map and taking the portal.

Is it so hard to make the game buffer every skill the party has equipped and the monsters in the area do use? Is it so difficult implementing an option for reduced complexity of skill effects or even switching them off? I want to enjoy this game so bad but I cannot because of its optimization. =(

Game is less optimized than wished. It will take them a year, or so, before actually making it playable on a system like yours. Most of us who have optimus technology for graphics switching (for me it's 635GT(m) and HD4000) have difficulty being able to get the dedicated card to work. I have had no luck. This is due to lack of optimization.

Eventually will be fixed, I think, but until then you can only sit and do nothing.

I have permanently switched to my Radeon long ago. If I run my Intel GPU even the login screen runs below 10 frames.

died yesterday again because a combination of rubber banding and framerate drops. entered the boss room on the cemetery map. got swarmed and clicked on the exit while below 2fps. got out but then the next moment back in the mob crowd again dropped dead.
