Accidently killed a bandit

I was questing with some friends and without paying attention I killed Kraityn with them. I wanted to get the maximum frenzy charge though. I dropped his ammy thinking it would reset the friend/foe option but every time I talk to him he just auto attacks me without giving an option. Do I have to reroll now? >_>

At present there exists no option to change your choices on the bandit quest apart from re-rolling and making a different choice.

This is, however, something GGG have said they're giving some thought to.

Here what I think they should do:


Let the NPC who gives the quest have an option to pay 5-10 regret to respec the quest.(in whichever difficulty you are currently in). If you killed all three bandits you must have an unallocated skillpoint to select this option. The reward passive(or in the prior case 1 unallocated skillpoint) is removed immediately and the quest is reset, allowing the player to redo the entire thing.

Or better yet, have the cost in regret orbs get higher each time you respec a bandit quest. Most people only really end up regretting one choice, and a scaling cost prevents abuse by cycling bandit quest rewards too often.

If it's that big of a deal to you, then yes you have to re-roll.

Don't see how you could accidentally start a bandit though.

There is no way to reset it.

Why reroll? Are you really that into min/max that your character isn't playable without that little bit extra? If so LOL.

Accidently means it was not intended. It is entirely possible for something to be both an accident and someone's fault. Maybe he was drunk or high or perhaps his mind was just elsewhere(I know my mind is often drifting when I'm farming for hours on end.) Car accidents are almost always ruled as someone's fault even though they are accidents. If you want to antagonize people you should at least do it in a more intelligent way.
