Feedback and Suggestions (Path of Exile 1) - Onslaught League, way too long. - Forum

It took one guy in Standart 4 months to get to 100. So I would say 4 is the minimum for new leagues because they are not races like the others and people are supposed to be able to hit the max. I think leagues should be long enough for people who do not play to reach a point where they can do high maps. I think 3 months would be perfect.. I think our entire analysis might be true but I have a different viewpoint. This game is in open beta. I'm personally hoping that they didn't pick 4 months out of thin air. I'm hoping they are using these leagues to test stuff -- like perhaps economic stuff -- and that's how long they thought they'd need to let the pot simmer. Or, alternately, that was how long they thought some other major milestone would take like a new act. But yes, if the only concern were player's interests I could probably do with a 2 month onslaught league (assuming I played at all. For me, apparently 3 weeks is enough to get bored with this game).
